The LCFC tracks low carbon legislation and regulation; provides practical analysis to its membership; advocates in state legislatures, administrative regulatory proceedings, and the popular media to support and expand low carbon fuel policies; and drives industry consensus and coordinates industry campaigns on key issues.
The LCFC achieves its goals through its members and resources:
- A diverse and growing membership- LCFC members include AGRON Bioenergy, California Ethanol and Power, Community Fuels, Cool Planet Energy Systems, The Earth Partners, EcoEngineers, Fulcrum BioEnergy, Iogen Corporation, LanzaTech, Pearson Fuels, REG Grays Harbor, SCB Group, SeQuential Biofuels, and Weaver.
- Advocacy- Graham Noyes, a California attorney known nationally for his work on fuel policy and regulatory issues, serves as Executive Director.
- Analysis- AJW Inc., a highly respected and effective consulting firm with offices in DC and Sacramento, is actively engaged in policy analysis for the Coalition.
- EQ Research provides legislative and regulatory tracking.
